High Level Course – Session 2022-2023

From 26 to 30 September 2022, the RHID will host the first of the four modules of the European Union CSDP High Level Course. This course, which is in its 18th year, is named after Otto von Habsburg, one of the EU’s founding fathers and a memorable activist against extremism.
Some 70 participants – selected from the EU Member States, working in the institutions or taking part in the EU’s CSDP (Common Security and Defence Policy) missions – will have the opportunity to attend this first course week in Brussels. Throughout that week, a visit is planned to the European Parliament and over 50 different speakers will hold about ten roundtable discussions and an equal number of high-level presentations. The participants will have many opportunities to debate on various topics with the speakers, thereby enriching their knowledge and experience of the various facets of EU security and defence.
The other three modules of this course will take place from 7 to 11 November 2022 in Tampere (Finland), from 17 to 21 April 2023 in Roskilde (Denmark) and from 19 to 23 June 2023 in Vienna (Austria).
