On 15 and 16 October 2021, the auditors of the 16th session of the High Studies for Security and Defence have gathered at the NH Brussels EU Berlaymont hotel for their fifth seminar, which was fully devoted to the European Union, its Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) and its initiatives in the field of industry and research on defence matters. Speakers from institutions such as the European External Action Service and the European Commission have elaborated on current files. Other speakers from the academic world as well as Belgian representatives in European multilateral fora have put these files into perspective.
