After almost a ten-month hiatus and now the current health situation allows groups to meet again, the auditors of the 16th session of the High Studies for Security and Defence were finally able to meet again on September 9, 10 and 11 to resume the course. We started off with a cultural-historical and folkloric cohesion activity enabling us to reinvigorate the good atmosphere in the group. This activity was followed by a very interesting meeting with the Belgian Minister of Defence, Ludivine Dedonder. Seminar 4, holding the overall title “instability factors”, took place on Friday and Saturday. The auditors had the opportunity to debate with prestigious speakers on organised crime, Islamic radicalism, terrorism, media challenges and risks, public finances and the state of democracy.
