On March 18th and 19th, the High Studies for Security and Defence organised a seminar on “The Middle East as a crisis zone”, with speakers from the International Crisis Group, the University of Lille (France) and several other institutions and universities. The second day, the auditors developed their own points of view in different discussion groups in the form of a “World Café”. At the end of the seminar, we still had not found the magic ingredient to restore peace at last in the Middle East. Nevertheless, these two days were most instructive and interesting.
