Biografie

Myrto Hatzigeorgopoulos heeft een master in de internationale conflictstudies van King’s College London (Verenigd Koninkrijk) en een bachelor in de politieke wetenschappen van de Université libre de Bruxelles, met een eenjarige uitwisseling aan de Freie Universität Berlin. Ze is onderzoeker aan het Studiecentrum voor Veiligheid en Defensie (SCVD), waar ze zich toelegt op de dynamiek van conflicten en vredeshandhaving in Sub Saharaans Afrika, met een focus op de strategie van ontwapening, demobilisatie en re integratie (DDR), de verkiezingsprocessen en EU-/VN-missies en operaties op het continent.
